De Texelse LinkscourseLeuke baan om te spelen. Wel echt Texels weer , veel wind en af een toe een bui , maakt de baan wel extra uitdagend. De fairways hebben wel wat te leiden gehad van de droogte , komt bast weer goed. Super aardig personeel en lekker gegeten. De baan is een extra reden om weer eens terug te gaan naar Texel.😉💪

De Texelse LinkscourseHeerlijke baan. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Fairways herstellen snel van de droge periode na een paar regenbuien. Blijft jammer dat er geen plek is om de trolley droog neer te zetten. Altijd wind en heerlijke zeelucht

De Texelse LinkscourseEen echte linksbeleving midden in het duinlandschap van Texel! 🌾⛳️ Tijdens een kort bezoek aan Golfbaan De Texelse kon ik gelukkig nog tijd maken om 9 holes te spelen. Vanaf het moment dat je aan komt rijden, maakt de baan een verzorgde indruk. Ook in het clubhuis volgt een prettig en gastvrij ontvangst. De oefenfaciliteiten zijn prima in orde. Er is een ruim opgezette driving range en vlak bij hole 1 ligt een grote puttinggreen, ideaal om je laatste voorbereidingen te treffen. Als je richting hole 1 loopt, vallen direct het Marshall-huisje en de klok op. Twee mooie elementen die perfect in het landschap passen. Ook erg prettig: iedere hole is voorzien van een duidelijk informatiebord met het holeverloop en de afstanden. De teeboxen liggen allemaal iets verhoogd en waren, ondanks de huidige warme en droge weersomstandigheden, goed onderhouden. En misschien wel het belangrijkste: ze liggen vlak. 👌 De fairways zijn door de droogte behoorlijk hard en droog, maar dat is gezien de omstandigheden niet verrassend. Ondanks dat blijven ze prima bespeelbaar. De greens daarentegen zijn van grote klasse: snel, strak en uitstekend verzorgd. Geen pitchmarks of vreemde plekken te zien. Echt een genot om op te spelen. De baan zelf ademt overal links golf. Lage begroeiing, veel glooiingen, uitdagende bunkers en een open karakter zorgen ervoor dat je constant moet nadenken over je volgende slag. Mijn geluk was dat het tijdens mijn ronde vrijwel windstil was. Ik kan me goed voorstellen dat de baan met stevige wind nog een stuk uitdagender wordt! 🌬️ Ik heb nu alleen de eerste 9 holes gespeeld, maar één ding is zeker: voor de volledige 18 holes kom ik gegarandeerd terug. De Texelse heeft me positief verrast en is absoluut een baan die op de golf-bucketlist thuishoort. 🏌️♂️🔥
