Very kind people attended me just entering close to the Clubhouse. It is a private course and if you get the chance to play there with a member you pay indeed 140CHF. I was not that lucky so payed 275Euro. Very high quality of service and infrastructure including the clubhouse and the maintenance of the course. I humbly believe nevertheless some things could be improved like a clear indication where to walk to the next holes, a layout of the hole close to the tee box and better practice area hitting maps and tee mats. Fairways are in very good condition as well as the greens. They are fast but roll very nice with hardly any bumps. Due to the high price I don't think I will go again undo I felt it was worth the price for one round (even playing in the rain over the last 4 holes). Thank you very much that you let me play at your course!

Without a doubt the best course in the Zurich area. Although not known by many, you can play as a guest on weekdays before 14:00. The conditions of the course are top notch. Overall it is a great championship course, long but plays shorter than on paper. And with the multiple tee options, there is a right challenge to any level player. Most difficulties are found around the large and slopy greens. Which if you can have a point of critic, is sometimes a bit over done. The facilities are very good, a grass range with free titleist balls and big putting green. When you visit you’ll get a warm welcome by Secretary Bob and the restaurant is very good too. After hole 18 a drink on the terrace is recommended, enjoy the view and this beautiful place close to Zurich.

Sehr schöner Golfplatz, wenig Par 3, herrliche Fairways, alle sehr fair und machbar, sensationell gepflegte und taillierte Greens, gerne wieder.

The course is enjoyable, but can be long off the back tees if soft. The condition was excellent, but some of the slopes on the greens are a bit overboard. Pity about the road that cuts through the course. Clubhouse and members can be a bit stiff at times.

Courses at Golf & Country Club Zürich
Golf & Country Club Zürich
The golf course was completely redesigned from 2015 to 2018 for the third time in the history of the Golf & Country Club Zurich. The well-known golf course architect Thomas Himmel was responsible. The fair designed course must be considered and played strategically. The focus is on the correct positioning and the well thought-out approach to the greens. These present themselves with numerous different pin positions, which makes the space variable. The eight different tea positions make the system more flexible in length and thus more suitable for every division. In particular, the removal of the originally steeply sloping fairways increases the fairness of the course considerably. The result is a great feel for all levels of play.
