Mooie baan met lastige fairways en een onbespeelbare 'rough'. Bal naast de Faitway is vrijwel altijd verdwenen. Clubhuis, oefenfaciliteiten, restaurant erg beperkt en niet passend bij de prijs.

Not a lot of positives I'm afraid...!

Recently ranked 81st in the Top 100 courses in Ireland 2020! Clubhouse is nice and the staff are friendly. Practice area is average enough. On the 1st tee we were all very excited about playing this track as we heard good things about Farnham Estate Golf Club... but we soon found out we were in for a tough and frustrating round... Fairways are all in bad shape, wet, hairy and full of mud! Zero roll of the fairways! Muck Balls after every drive... no mention of clean and place at the clubhouse either, played with muck on our balls on every hole. Maintenance is required for the bunkers which lack serious attention and around the greens, I doubt any work was carried out here over the last few months?... The Greens are a 3/10 right now and the holes haven't been cut out correctly. Let's say that overall I was very disappointed.

Now for some good points... Great Hole Designs throughout the course, I loved the tough Par 3's on the front 9 and some beautiful scenic holes midway through.

It might be a while before I revisit... Even chatting to a few Members after my round that are not happy with the course?

Een verborgen pareltje, de eerste negen holes zijn als inland links opgezet met prachtige linksbunkers met rough tewijl de tweede negen een bosbaan wordt, eigenaardig aan deze baan is dat de holes alle na een ander liggen in een grote cirkel daardoor word je nergens gestoord maar is de afstand lang en heuvelachtig waardoor een buggy geen overbodige luxe is, het clubhuis is in aanbouw, nu word je vriendelijk geholpen in een container, aan een gunstprijsje voor 35€ greenfee.
