Cahir Park Golf Club

Nice course with some tough holes. Greens are a bit slow. Tee boxes are in need of rest. Good value for money.

A lovely course that starts with 7 tree lined holes before you cross the river on the 8th and tackle a more open but not easier 9 holes before the last 2 go back into the trees. The greens and fairways are always in super condition and a friendly welcome is always guaranteed.

I lived in Cahir for a total of 9 months. I visited Cahir Park almost weekly. While the course is nice and does the job, there isn't much thought required when plotting your way around the course. Literally bang a driver and flick a wedge most of the way around. They have some nice practice facilities however there isn't really much atmosphere about the clubhouse and indeed the hospitality I received wouldn't have me rave about the place and I was there giving them repeat business! Just off the motorway from Limerick to Cork so a handy 9 holes for anyone needing to stretch their legs.
