Silkeborg Golf Club

Fantastisk klub! Du ankommer og mødes af et hyggeligt og lækkert klubhus, restaurant og shop. Range og træningsområder herunder putting green og indspil green står ekstremt skarpt. De tre sløjfer er helt unikke, som består af meget naturskønne huller inde i skoven. Alle huller har et spændende layout som er udfordrende, med velplacerede fairwaybunkers og udfordringer mod greens. Selve standen på banen er mirakuløs. Alt fra rough, til green står knivskarpt. I Silkeborg kan man ikke skyde skylden på standen ved et dårligt slag ;) Uden tvivl Danmarks flotteste og bedste bane efter min mening. Jeg glæder mig til at spille banen igen!

Superb experience in the middle of Jutland. Excellent course and beautiful surroundings.

Silkeborg is an excellent course - all combinations of 18 are top quality. The 18 hole loop used for DP World Tour (South-West). I have taken many visitors from Scotland to play Silkeborg over the years, as well as other good courses in Jutland. They all say the same thing - Silkeborg is their favourite.

My first impression with this golfclub was: wow this looks really clean. At the pro shop I got my card from a vending machine. No personal contact there (which is a shame if you ask me). Driving range is big with mats, no cover from sun or rain. Chipping area and putting greens are solid. I was actually playing east-south loop. However there were many, mainly even, 4-balls playing. Super slow and getting me out my rhythm. So after playing east I hopped on to the west loop. The course is really beautiful. West loop is recommended. Big elevation changes so a nice workout. All in all a nice experience but there is potential for an even better one.

Topbaan. Begonnen op zuid. Eerste hole oké, maar dan komen stuk voor stuk mooie holes voorbij. Wat hoogteverschil en afwisselende holes. Baan was in topconditie en zeer strakke snelle greens. Must play baan in de regio.
