Such a nice idyllic venue, driving up towards the golf club, finding your spot on the spacious parking lot and walking through a lovely garden towards the pro-shop. The practice facilities are good, driving range has maybe seen it’s best years but practice balls are free, the large putting green is very good as well as the chipping green/bunkers just next to H1 of l’Américain. L’Américan is not easy as it is quite narrow at times, hilly and the greens are undulating and quite fast. But once you’re set in the game, it is a fun course to play. You do not need a buggy to get around, the relief afterwards when you can sit down and have a drink on the lovely terrace is only bigger. The restaurant is good and besides the menu card they will always have some specials of the day .

Chateau de la Tournette is a 36 holes golfcourse. Large parking space, immense clubhouse and adjacient buildings, good driving range at various levels. We played both courses, the Anglais is the better course. Both are hilly, though walkable. We played after a period of rain, so maybe not the best experience, as the American course was not in the best condition. Lot of sand on the greens, fairways were ok. Greens very hard to read and the sand did not make it easier. Anglais was in much better condition. Both courses have a lot of trees, some water hazards, a good deal at 100 euro for a round. We even got a 30% discount at the Anglais as there was a of maintenance going on on the greens, appreciated.
