Golfbaan Delfland

Course architect Michiel van der Vaart designed the most recent (2010) extension of golfbaan delfland, the blue loop (C) as a 9-hole inland links course. The blue loop is an essential contrast with the red and/or yellow loop. These have a more park-/polderachtig character. ' Blue ' is distinguished by: -more open and rougher character; -more length; -more slopes by the Court and on the greens; -deeper bunkers and higher rough; -less water hazards. Thanks to recent improvements more and more players the ' blue ' challenge and increases the appreciation for Van der Vaart's course design.

Within an hour 9 holes and a satisfied feeling? Play the challenging Par 3 delfland Challenge Course! (also Qualifying) -9 hole par 3 alternate in length between 90 and 135 metres -gently sloping greens with good bite and roll on the ball -mature trees, bunkers and water hazards complete the picture. Gerard Jol designed the red loop (A) in combination with the yellow loop (B) as an 18-hole Championship Course in the beautiful polder landscape. Spinning and containment connect the alternating-hole views of the skyline of Rotterdam with beautiful sight lines over great lakes and the vast flat Delft hinterland. The original 1st 9 begins with two relatively simple hole. Certainly at a penalty (west) - winds are the subsequent hole spicy. The slotholes of the red loop invite definitely to the yellow and/or blue loop to play.

Gerard Jol designed the Yellow loop (in combination with the Red) as the 2nd 9 of original 18 hole Championship course. The polder-/parkbaan is wide and easy to set up: "what you see is what you get". The water is more common in the game but yellow offers daredevils multiple options to "to go". Combine yellow with red for the unit or with blue for the alternation that delfland has to offer.
