Nordhaug Golfklubb

On September 23rd, we played 9h at the Nordhaug golf course. We did this because other courses were closed due to the rainfall from the previous days. We were paired with another green fee player who was familiar with the course, and we had a friendly match. The course is located next to a large TopGolf-like driving range that you can use. I found the clubhouse and the course itself to be somewhat underwhelming. The clubhouse is simple. I often find 9-hole courses, especially par 3 courses, challenging and enjoyable, but that was negated by the easy layout of the course. Some holes are flat with no obstacles for about 80 meters ahead. I would prefer to see a large bunker in front of the green or some higher rough. The course maintenance is not necessarily bad, especially considering the recent rainfall. All in all, it was a fun way to spend about an hour, but no more than that.
