Molinetto Country Club

Nice 18 holes next to Milano. Bit unfortunate that tee box and fairway are under maintenance, but count to get back again in few weeks. Pros are the club house and driving range with trackman. Cons are the surrounding close to Linate airport, urban area and train.

The walk here was awful, we needed to walk 15 mins from the bus station right next to a car line somewhere on the outside of town. My Girlfriend at the time hated it so much we needed to rent an Uber home (even tho we like walking), but lucky the course was Amazing! Great holes, an amazing layout and one of the best fairways and bunkers I have played out of. The placement of the 1st/9th teebox and green in very poor, but it does not ruin the fun. I had a great time playing here and would recommend it! The clubhouse is beautiful! Friendly staff, but very bad in English...

Very nice country club in the suburb of Milan which hosted the 42nd Open d'Italia in 1985.  Manuel Piñero won the Italian Open that year and Sam Torrance was a runner up.

The layout is very interesting with lots of diversity. The course is completely flat and not very long but don’t let that fool you as the Par-3 holes are quite long so pars will not come easy. Make sure you make the best out of the short Par-4's and reachable Par-5's. Besides a few water hazards, water canals are crossing the fairways on your tee shot landing areas so make sure you choose your clubs wisely as it will come into play almost on every second hole, on holes 1,2,5,8,11,14,17 and 18 to be exact. My favorite hole is the short Par-4 6th with a well protected peninsula green. There are many other good Par-4 holes to be played, like the slight dogleg left 2nd. The 4th is technical dogleg right hole which might be short on the paper but it will require long and precise tee shot to reach the green in two - love it. Slight dogleg right 11th with well "hidden" green. 9th and 16th are also nice straight forward Par-4's with good and well protected greens. 17th is my favorite Par-5, and the 5th is not far from it. Both are well protected and you will need two great drives and second shots as well if you want to reach the dance floor in two. My favorite Par-3 is the long 10th over the lake, followed by the 15th which is the only short Par-3 on the course.

Molinetto is a proper country club as it offers tennis courts, table tennis and much more. Lovely swimming pool area is located next to the 10th hole. Clubhouse is very nice with a lovely garden. Very friendly staff. Located just a few minutes from highway A4/A51.

Well worth playing if you are in town.

Golf au design « ancien » - assez court avec des fairways peu larges entourés d’arbres magnifiques. Plat, se joue facilement avec des greens intéressants et variables en pentes.

Schöner Platz mit hohem altem Baumbestand. Nicht alle 18 Löcher sind gleich interessant. Einige sind um einen See angelegt und diese sind auch sehr interessant zu spielen. Ander sind einfach nur eng und geradeaus - finde ich weniger interessant.

Die Green sind gepflegt. Problem könnte es geben, wenn es lange nicht geregnet hat, dann muss man damit rechnen, dass der Platz an einigen Stellen trocken ist.

Im allgemeinen ein guter Platz - würde aber andere in der Gegend vorziehen.
