Bonclody is a fabulous golf course and fishing club. It has marvelous facilities including a fabulous clubhouse first class practice areas and driving range. I have played many courses all over the world and I would rate this course very highly. I was not allowed to rate this course at10 by the editorial staff. I would challenge them to go and visit bunclody golf and fishing club. So I had to rewrite my critique and give the course a lower scoring. Shame on you guys.

Played this golf course in the middle of January and it was unbelievably dry. Not a place of any standing water or pool. Unbelievable drainage. They use a lot of sand on the course which makes the soil porous and draining water well. The course has mostly very wide fairways, fairly large greens, however, some of them become small due to hazards on the side. Large, sometimes deep bunkers. I found greens slow, perhaps becose of sanding and plenty of moisture in January. Amazing feature is a lift from 17th green to 18th tee, however, in January it was not working (understandable). Particulalrly nice is signature hole 15th with a massive tree in the middle where you are aiming at, but hoping not to hit it. Looking forward playong this course in spring or summer.

Played an open competition at Bunclody in June 2024, missed my tee time due to an accident on the road. The staff were great and managed to get my tee time moved with no fuss. The course is stunning nestled in a forest with a river flowing through it. The start is quite open and makes you feel as though the course is going to be forgiving and then you hit the back nine and everything changes. Special note for hole 15 and the final four, these are the best holes on the course and make for an incredible finishing round. If you’re scoring hot these will put you to the ultimate test

We komen terug!
