StrandhillVery fun to play, and low key club that gives visitors a friendly welcome. Old school course in some ways, with quirky holes that offer a fair challenge. My view is that the first time you play it, you learn a lot about strategies, and the 2nd round is much more enjoyable. Can't wait to play it again.

StrandhillÈ un campo ondulato con molte dune, colpi ciechi e vento che gira da diverse direzioni perché il mare e la laguna sono su fronti opposti. Molto buona la manutenzione anche considerando l'elevato numero di giocatori. Un campo impegnativo. Mi sono divertito molto giocando ma non ho trovato lo spirito che mi aspettavo, forse troppe stradine per i cart, accoglienza anonima, Club house deserta.

StrandhillA great test of golf on pure links. Unmatched scenery from every hole surrounded by the Atlantic and Knocknarea mountain and Benbulben in the distance. A good combination of long and shortish par 4's and 2 par 5's that you can go at at your peril.
Always in pristine condition thanks to the hard working green staff.
Club motto is 'Friendship in Sport' which is very evident at this club.
