Leonard review

We visited Centurion just 10 days before the Sixes were held there so they were in full preparation of this event and we were lucky to play hole 5-14. We got shuttled out there in a Landrover with fine rental clubs and by a very friendly staff member. The 5th is a nice par 3 in the more sheltered part of the course. Later on you go more in the open. Centurion is a relatively new private club close to London and Luton airport so very well placed for local as international members. The restaurant is of very high quality and open to the public, unfortunately we did not have time to try it out ourselves. We did however have a great sausage roll at the half way house which is beautifully situated. When you tee off at the 8th they prepare it and then you play 8 & 9 and have your break. The course is quite hilly with nice bunkers and green complexes, when we were playing the greens were not super fast but that's probably because the tournament was coming. You could see that these greens can be very fast. I really liked the atmosphere in the locker room where the members had their own cabinet with a bottle of whiskey. So would love to come back here and play the full 18 holes and enjoy a dinner.
