Again we were in the neighbourhood of Hermanus to check if we can see whales?? Also this year there are no whales with kids in the bay and if there are no fish there is always 27 holes golf course. The clubhouse and staff are nice and you have all attention to help you which courses are avaiable . The practice facilities are nice and advise to use them. The maintenance is also good even in times of lack of rain they make sure you can enjoy your round. There are nice views on the Valley of the Heldelberg mountains. The course is to walk with trolley a bit undulated but not a problem. The greefee have increased during the years also due to the fact it is always busy and not only with visitors from other countries. The course is also liked by south africans and in a quiet period you can join the competition on saturday and wednesday. There are also deer and springbokkies around to watch you while playing. Further the wind from the ocean can also be a big factor especially when playing in the afternoon. The terrace is very nice and good service also a pleasure to play. also yjis year it was very nice we played south and north and the course and greens in perfect position. Overal when in the area and like to play golf do it and enjoy

Hermanus wasn’t necessarily a new golf club to me but with it being a 27 hole operation, an opportunity to play the East course or the first 9 holes (1-9). I was fortunate enough to play holes 10-27 a couple years ago. At the time I thought it was an excellent club and nothing has changed. From the moment you arrive in the December sunshine you know you’re in for a special round. From the huge putting green to the driving range with a mountain backdrop it is hard not to appreciate the beauty of the course. Lush fairways, fast firm greens and a tricky yet rewarding set of holes that rewards accuracy in approach, Hermanus is in my opinion an underrated golf course in South Africa. If you could manage all 27 holes in a day I would play them in a heartbeat!
