About Ebotse Links Golf

The Ebotse Golf & Country Estate course has been referred to as Peter Matkovich's 'little secret' as no one really knows what a spectacular course he has created. Since day one Peter Matkovich has said, "Ebotse is a wonderful opportunity to create an environmentally sensitive and balanced golf course, combining links, lakeside and parkland." Surrounding Rynfield lake, the golf course will boast a truly unique driving range in a man-made lake. Having invested millions in the rehabilitation, the Estate will have a driving range never experienced by most golfers. Peter’s vision includes the very clever use of what once was a quarry. Dramatically transformed into a driving range, it will include several floating greens and will enable golfers to hit floating balls into the lake.

Ebotse Golf Links Course
Again a inland lin ks course were unexpected links elements are available such as water hazards and less wind if you lucky. However therefore not easy and should not be underestimated. The Rynfield Dam has great influence on the course. The fairways are undulated and therefore your ball bounce in unexpected locations. Green-fee fully worth the round. There is a spectacula…

Ebotse Golf Links Course
With the winter GF offer, extremely good value for the money. Staff is really friendly and informative. Anyhow if your game is not on a good shape (like mine wasn, t), it is too difficult course especially one week before PGA tour competition. It seems that the wind is always harsh and links course requires is not too forgiving, so it is a challenge.

Ebotse Golf Links Course
Geweldige ervaring.

Ebotse Golf Links Course
For some reason golf bookings in South Africa are extremely challenging - phone calls are not answered, e-mails do not reply, and internet booking is a joke. - But Ebotse Links is total opposite, very fast and friendly replies to every single inquiry and question. Played this course last winter, and it was nice experience. Now in summer times - the roughs are way too di…

Ebotse Golf Links Course
Ebotse is a beauty! It has the looks of a links but actualy plays like all the courses in Joburg area (targetgolf on soft/fast greens). Stay on or near the fairways here! You'll see some wildlife on the course, like antilopes. Thats nice but a bit strange between all the houses of the estate.
