About Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort
The social ‘heart’ of the Great Rift Valley Lodge is the clubhouse building, which offers fine dining and beautiful views from its panoramic restaurant and broad balconies. Around the clubhouse, the lush fairways and shimmering lakes of the 6,580-yard golf course fan out in different directions, all with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. As well as all the facilities you would expect of a professional golf club, the clubhouse offers a comfortable restaurant, two bars, and a luxurious lounge with a fireplace and satellite television for the use of lodge guests. Visitors can also take advantage of a wide variety of modern sports facilities, including a driving range and practice greens, two tennis courts and a freeform swimming pool, as well as professional corporate facilities, including three conference rooms and efficient business and secretarial services.

Great Rift Valley Golf CourseVandaag deze heerlijke golfbaan gespeeld. Weinig poespas en niet ontzettend moeilijk maar wel afwisselende holes en goed onderhoud.
We speelden met Caddy en dit was top geregeld. De ontvangst door Peter was ook geweldig en alles was snel geregeld waardoor we snel aan onze ronde konden beginnen.
De uitzichten op sommige holes zijn fantastisch en het is heel bijzonder om tussen de wilde dieren te spelen. Hier en daar moesten we even wachten tot de zebra’s van de fairway waren.
Ondanks dat het even duurt voor het eten door komt is het restaurant een aanrader, hier heerlijk geluncht na de ronde.
We hebben hier een top dag gehad, als je in Kenia bent en in de buurt van Naivasha is dit absoluut een aanrader!

Great Rift Valley Golf CourseDer Platz ist nicht sehr schwierig, hat aber ein paar ganz schöne Löcher. Die Pflege ist gut.
Das Hotel ist auch sehr schön, da kann man gut einige Tage Golfspielen.

Great Rift Valley Golf CourseMooie en goed onderhouden golfaan. De holes zijn niet erg spectaculair maar wel bijzonder ervaring is dat je tussen de zebra's, apen en impala's aan het golfen bent.
Great Rift Valley Golf CourseVery nice and well maintained golf with wild animal walking around. The green are not easy to play as a bit trricky to maintain but good job done.
Great Rift Valley Golf CourseThis weekend I stayed here for two nights. I found it amazing! The staff was helpful and very friendly. The pool is nice, fresh and the beds at the pool are comfortable.
I also played 9 holes (of course) which was definitely the highlight of my stay. Because of the drought the golf course has quite some brown rough, but the tee boxes, fairways and greens are well maintaned and watered. If you want to play on a completely green golf course I recommend you going during or after the raining seasons. Also, as an European tourist I found it an amazing experience to play between the zebras, impalas and warthogs. Something you don't experience anywhere else as far as I know. You really have the feeling that you're in Kenya, Africa!
Altogether, Great Rift Valley Lodge is a luxurious and typical African accommodation with a very decent golf course, a mix I can highly appreciate.
P.s. the road there is completely renewed and honestly it feels like you are driving on a racing circuit ;-).
